Adam and I went to the barracks tonight to drop off some paperwork to his Cpl, and we started talking about what life is going to be like without the military. He hadn't really thought about it until I asked him if he was going to be sad. Then he was like, "Wow, pretty soon I will never see another barracks building again." I think this whole getting out of the military thing is going to be very bittersweet. It's good because he really has had a tough run of it while he was in, between his drinking days in Korea, the girlfriend troubles that caused him so much heartache, and this unit screwing him over. When you take away all of the crappy stuff, and think about what it means to be in the military (especially what it means to Adam), this is going to be really sad. This is all he has known for almost 5 years, and all we have known as a couple.

Such a huge change and it is all happening so fast.

Before & After

Went to the doctor, getting out of the Army, and got the website up... oh my!
A whole lot of nothing.
