The Americans are specialists in surrounding places, keeping people in them, holding up for a week, if necessary, to make them surrender. These guys only had, it appears, AK-47s, and you had immense amount of firepower. Surely, the possibility of the immense amount of information they could have given coalition forces, not to mention the trials that they could have been put on for war crimes, held out a much greater possibility of victory for you if you could have surrounded that house and just sat there until they came out, even if they were prepared to keep shooting.

There is a reason that senior officers like General Sanchez handle these press conferences and NOT First Sergeants.

General Sanchez: Sir, that is speculation. Stand up Mr. Reporter and follow me (leading him out of the briefing tent and looking over shoulder), the rest of you are welcome to join us. Anyway, right now I am so mad at Adam I could scream. He came home a few days ago wanting to go to church and quit smoking and all that jazz, so I thought cool. No problem. Well, he has been trying not to smoke as much lately, so when he told me yesterday that he was going to hide my pack of cigarettes so that we didn't sit and chain smoke I thought it was a good idea.

Then this morning, after being awake all night without a cigarette, I woke him to ask him where he hid them. He tells me "I will get them when I wake up." So, I told him to just tell me so I could have one and then he could re-hide them. So, then the bastard tells me that he didn't hide them, he smoked them all! Not only did he lie to me about quitting, he hid my own cigarettes from me so that he could smoke them all! I am so livid right now I swear I could hit him.

Trina - nicotine + lying husband = VIOLENCE.

I have been in the bedroom twice to try and wake him up, and he has ignored me each time, which of course ended in me slamming the door as hard as I could to get his attention. I am sure the selfish asshole is already asleep again. Probably in some nicotine induced stupor from all of the cigarettes HE got to smoke last night in the middle of the pack of LIES he was spewing me.
